Music, Worship 领导 Concentration
Our new Bachelor of Science in Music, Worship 领导 Concentration degree is housed in the School of Music and offers a fully-functioning degree in music/worship leadership with a new core of worship-specific courses included.
This degree prepares our students with a breadth of information and skills that are applicable to a variety of careers in music and ministry. We educate students to enter the vast arena of worship ministry including training in worship technology, 排练技巧, 生产要素, 服务计划, 团队建设, 不同的教派模式, worship theology and philosophy, 以及教会管理.
Students must be accepted to HSU and then audition for the School of Music to be admitted to the program and be eligible for a potential music scholarship. This degree also includes 15 hours of Logsdon ministry core courses, so students receive the full benefit of the pastoral and theological training available, with an overall emphasis on music and worship.

Thank you for your interest in our Music: Worship 领导 degree! My name is 蒂芙尼Stotts and I am the creator and director of this degree at Hardin-Simmons. Throughout my 20 years of being a worship leader I was constantly surprised at how little was offered in terms of undergraduate training for students and adults looking for a potential career in leading worship or pastoring in a worship atmosphere. We have worked hard to create a degree that truly prepares students to be a successful leader and Christ-follower in worship ministry.
I would love the chance to set up a phone call or campus visit to help answer all your questions about this degree, 许奖学金, and ways to serve the campus and community through becoming a student at HSU!
